This
gorgeous perfectly preserved 1912 satin gown is very unusual and unique in
its design. The front of the gown is perfectly plain, except for the
intricate appliquéd embroidery around the bateau neckline. The back of the
gown is shaped to the body above the waist and accented with draped bustle
over the hip and rows of self rushing from waist to floor and at the
hemline. A garland veil copied from a 1920's historical photograph completes
the look. |
