This 1898 Gibson Girl gown is hand made of antique linen featuring exquisite trapunto embroidery and
insets of hand done drawn work and cutwork.

The blouson bodice is caressed with a ruffle over the shoulder front and back and is adorned with a high wedding ring collar of  Italian fillet lace. Six antique lacey buttons 'found' in London England, secure the bodice back.

The Gibson Girl sleeves come to a point over the wrist. The skirt features an off-set waistband and comes to a gentle sweep in the back.
