This 1890's
"Gibson Girl Gown" is hand made of antique cotton, collected fabric from
Stowe, Vermont. And features embroidery and handmade eyelets.
The blouson
bodice is heavily embroidered and set off by a high eyelet collar and long
sleeves embroidered in eyelet and scalloped edging at the cuffs.
The full
gathered skirt has tucking at the hip line and the many yards of fabric is
trimmed at the hem with deep eyelet insertion, many tiny tucks and
embellished with a deep ruffle to accent the sweep train.
