For over 28 years, Elsie's Victorian Bridal has been designing for the bride
who wants that nostalgic touch of "something old" -- something unique and
reminiscent of days gone by. Each one-of-a-kind gown is designed and made
by Elsie with exquisite embellishments of handmade antique imported lace,
hand embroidery, and French hand sewing, making it a timeless creation that
will become a family heirloom to be treasured for years to come.
One-of-a-Kind
Period Gowns
Elsie's Victorian Bridal designs one-of-a-kind period gowns from the early
1800s through the 1910s. "I specialize in natural-fiber fabrics and antique
laces, hand crochet, and embroidery." Everything is custom made; nothing is
manufactured. Select from over 60 dresses in stock or have a custom design
made especially for you."
To complete the
Victorian look, handmade petticoats, hats and veils of handmade silk roses
are also available.
Restoration of Antique and Vintage Gowns
In addition to custom designing wedding gowns, Elsie can restore antique or
vintage gowns your mother or grandmother may have worn. All alterations to
reconstruct and fit the gown to your specifications are done with expert
handwork. Elsie's provides consultation on Old-World customs and offers an
ideal Victorian setting for wedding portraits.
